Hey... I am new to LJ and don't understand crap of this to be honest. THOUGH... if I get this right it will be readable for you. Now this is my rant from the convention. NOT just Jensen, but the whole thing... which include me leving my doorstep home in Horten, Norway and going threw Amsterdan then to Newcastle then to Coventry... AND back again.
Sorry that it is long but there was much to say and I don't even have a fraction of it. Also... this was originally written for my friends at the FaNily forum so bare with some internal humor I might not have managed to get out.

SUPERNATURAL CON 2007 – COVENTRY
Okey, so it all started early Friday morning. I was up at 6am to catch the bus at 7 that would take me to the train station 30minutes away. This is the first time I have ever traveled this far alone so nerves were just starting to act up. Got on the bus and breathed. Had to wait 30mintues for my train into Oslo then wait another two hours to actually take off. Spent an hour and a half in Amsterdam before I headed off to meet the FaNily called Dream…or Claire… heeh… I did try to text her that I was in Amsterdam at some point so that she would know I at least was showing up but I managed to try and send it to her home nr, which obviously doesn’t work so not any contact with Dream before I got to Newcastle.
I got to Newcastle and had high hopes of looking important with Dream’s promise of having a sign so I would find her and everything, but you know what… NOOOOO Dream. So… there I was… alone… in England…. At this point I didn’t know I had sent to Dream’s home nr so kinda just hoped the international texting thing was screwed… and thought… uhm.. “sooo… my memory is bad and there is a 77% (lol yeah I figured 77 was about right) of me NOT recognizing her” then thinking… “Yeah… so…. I am so screwed….” This kinda added a tinsy bit more to the nerves of traveling alone, meeting a girl I had never met and even better if it didn’t work out we’d still have to be room buddies for 4 days… BUT… after not too long a girl that looked slightly stressed came threw the doors and I… against all odds DID recognize her… lol so… “Heeey!”
Between Newcastle and Coventry which meant like… some time on the Metro and a few hours on the train kinda forced us to come up with something good to chat about. And well… there is a slight difference in chatting and talking… cus when chatting you can always dissapare for some time… or find something interesting to talk about on the internet or a forum or something… When you are face to face… the coming up with new stuff kind of thing get’s harder… And I was so dead beat for traveling and just wanted to sleep. But we did impressing good I think… and and bare in mind this was my first time speaking English in years… Also if my memory is right everybody that sat with us at our table kinda left when they got a chance… lol… “what did we do?”. All inn all we did good!
So… finally got to the hotel, got checked inn, got some food (which in all honestly I kinda was a pain in the ass, cus I never make food choices… Because I am so picky in food people get to choose and I will find something to eat even if it is dry bread. If I decide we would end up in some boring place or live on pizza for four days. So I kinda went three days answering any food questing with “it’s the same for me…” Which eventually Dream accepted until I asked if we could go to KFC cus we don’t have KFC and I love KFC… so after that she kept asking me what I wanted to eat… lol… the food issues *shakes head*)… where was I? Oh… so later we had to watch SN! I mean… I hadn’t yet, and Dream hadn’t and she had also been good and stayed away from spoilers… to be nice to me… so nice… so we watched like… 15 minutes before someone knocked on the door, and this was another girl from another board that Dream knew and wow… she’s was a talker… Though very funny and very nice! So she spent some time going on and on about anything… and then she HAD to join us in the bed watching SN. LOL so… SN fans come together! J It was brilliant though! Fellow freaks gathered!
SATURDAY
Dream and I went in at… what? Nine or something like that… started our first queue (there were a few of them). At this point somewhere Jensen got attacked by crazy girl who got kicked out. Poor my boy… freaky fans scaring him to death. Doesn’t put us in a good light now does it?
Now the story around the attack was that there was this girl that had jumped him… like literary jumped with her hands around his neck and her feet around his legs. Jensen’s bodyguard had to drag her away from him literary. He had pushed Jensen into the elevators and sent him up and the girl had put out a cigarette into the bodyguards neck. And this was right before Jensen had a few hours of Photo Shoots with crazy fangirls.
Anyway… we did get our tickets finally… and photo ticked. And even if we had ordered separately we had nr. 3, 4 and 5. (me 5) which was a bit strange. Before we knew anything we were in line for the photo. Didn’t even get the chance to think about anything just… *I get to see Jensen**I get to see Jensen**I get to see Jensen*. And man… he is in fact with so extremely jaw dropping gorgeous that it actually takes your breath away. Pictures or him on TV is absolutely nothing compared what the man is like in real life. And I even have a picture of me and him and even if he is extremely pretty there as well (no doubt about that) it still doesn’t compare to seeing him. It went really fast though… was like 10 seconds then you were suddenly standing outside the room shaking like a leaf thinking “O my friggin god!”
Though 10 seconds is enough time to feel like you made a complete fool out of yourself. Ok, the story… and this is MY big story from the con. When we walked into the room where the shoot was and I actually managed to take in something else than Jensen himself I noticed that everybody was so quiet. I figured people just went up to him stood there got the picture then left… nothing to it really. So it is my turn and I walk up looking at his magnificent face before I line up beside him and he put his hand on my shoulder and I had my hand around his back (yes that is a situation you never thought you’d experience in you life when you first stared to watch Jensen), but… when I am there he goes “Hi, how are you?” I am a little baffled and I am so very wanting to have at least a half decent photo at the same time I am very extremely excited that I am standing right there with Jensen so I do this: With an extremely over excited tone I go “I’m AAAAWEEESOMEEEE”. I swear I just wanted to faceplant onto the floor.
I do find it funny now though… and that is more cus he won’t remember it… which is good. And before I knew it I was on my way out shaking like never before texing my friend who “discovered” Jensen (at least in our world) going “I MET JENSEN I MET JENSEN”. Nope wasn’t rubbing it inn at all really… hihi. Still… to see him, hear him and he smelled nice too…. *smiles dreamy*… and his hand on my shoulder and mine around his back… so so so dreamy. Only that was worth the whole convention ticket. Also because the people I were with at the convo and myself found it incredible stupid that it crossed over to kinda cool I got Jensen to sign my picture with “To Kat ur awesome”
Between this we kinda spend our time watching the Panel things. I will go threw what I thought about the people later, just saying we saw most of them several times. And had one with Jensen that day too though we were WAY in the back. Was still fun though, he is such a great guy!
SATURDAY NIGHT
Dream, the two other girls (Charli and Vikki) went out together to the ‘Asylum Con Disco’-thing which had Jensen’s buddy Jason Manns playing live for us. Someone had asked Jensen on the Panel if he could sing for us, and he didn’t say no, though we doubted that he would. Anyway… Dream kept buying us wine… *shakes head*… and here I tried to convince people I don’t drink too much with new people. *shrugs*… that and… can’t drink beer as you drink wine… go figure. Still I think we had a fun time… at least when they kicked the bad music to the curve and gave us some real good mullet rock Supernatural music.
SUNDAY
This day started off fun. We ordered our taxi to get to the Leofric hotell where the con was and when it came there was another girl waiting to go to the same place. So we said sure we can share a cab. And she was going to the con as well and asked about how many people was there and what it was like and asked why we were there. Now we said of course that we were there for Supernatural mostly and for Jensen. Then Dream asked who she was there to see and she answered “Oh, no… I am there to sign stuff”. Yeah soa little foot in our mouth there but she was cool about it though… she was apparently from Dr who, but had only been a guest star there, and I have never watched that show so how could I know? It was still a funny situation though J
Well more queues! We wanted to get good seats for Jensen’s last panel, which was at the end of the day. Twice we had seats in the second row and twice they had to clear the room cus people kept moving the chairs. Somehow we did end up in the right queue at least and got seats around row 7 or 8 or something. They had an auction before Jensen got on though. Pic’s of actors that were signed, the StarGate dude offered himself up and people got to bid on getting to grab is but. The most insane thing was that a picture of Jensen… that had been take that weekend and it was signed… it went for 400 pounds. Or was it 300? Either way… it was freakishly much money… That’s half my salary for one month. And it was a cool picture I can admit to that but still!!! Someone REALLY wanted that picture! Also a promo DVD from Supernatural went for 150 pounds. That really is insane, but the good thing is that it was for a good cause and that is something!
JENSEN:
As for the Panel we didn’t get to SEE much of him. Stupid heads getting in our way so I kept looking at the screens instead. At least I could see him there and from time to time. Was just as good we knew he was there… and kinda popped my head to the side just to see him not on the screen then back to the screen again. Jensen was awesome though. And I wished I could get like a whole vid of the Panels cus it would be so cool to rewatch over and over and over. Though what is the issue with the Winchest? Cus he did get a lot of Winchest or Winchest Fanfics questions and I just have to wonder why people are so ginormusly hung up in this thing. On one guestion… he got asked what he thought about fanfictions? And he said that Manners had printed out one Winchest one… I don’t remember the name, know it is up on the Limp!Sam board but not checking. STILL… when he said the name half the croud cheered… as in they have read and loved (at least it seemed that way) and again… what is up with the fascination bout Winchest… I find it gross and am glad I have stayed clear of that!
I am trying to remember some of the questions and answers. This is pretty much take out of my head so doesn’t have to be accurate but at least it is close:
There was a little boy who wanted to know if Jensen got hurt when shooting Supernatural? He was so cute and so brave, but he kinda mumbled into the microphone and Jensen could catch what he was saying so he said that he could just come up and tell Jensen on stage. The kid got up brave as he was and asked Jensen again. Jensen had this cute little smile on his face like he just wanted to reassure the kid that they don’t. So he looked at the boy and said that – No they don’t get hurt and that they had many good people around them that is making sure that nothing happens to then when they are shooting a scene. Although Jared did break his hand during this season, but that was it. Jensen was really awesome and talked so different to the kid than when he talked to the host or to the crowed, like he slowed down and just went in this really reassuring tone that just could melt hearts, and it probably did.
People asked him about what ringtone he got on his cell… Jensen always keep it on vibrat cus they are always shooting some scene and it is embarrassing when the phone go off which apparently happens to Jared from time to time, and to a lot of the crew guys.
He got asked if he and Jared had nicknames for each other... I don’t remember all of them, but Jensen calls Jared for Jarhead (heeeh… that was my old Quiz-Team name when we were doing Quiz thing at the Pizza place last summer). Also think it was Manners that had some good names on Jared (lol we didn’t get to know what they called Jensen though)… then again Jared stood us up so we can be a bit mean to him (in a nice way). BUT… one I remember is that ‘they’ also call him Sasquach. LOL that is awesome!
There was a girl who wanted to know what they did in their time off… which was said something like this: “… So what is it that you do do..?” We all know what Jensen said right… and what made the whole room crack up.
Jensen: “You said DODO”
If you don’t get it I can tell you this. The reason I get it is because I have this thing from something called “Payle Festival” where the boys and Kripke and Manners and some others had this panel thing, and Jensen is about to tell something and he manage to say “…do do…” Then Jared goes “You said DODO” before he cracks up and so does Jensen.

Someone asked him (I think this was the first panel) if he had any tricks when he acted all emotional and how it prepared and such. And as in this link, he said that he had to put a lot of focus into it. But the thing was that when he had to do a really emotional scene even if in his mind he knew that this was just acting his body didn’t and when he had done a scene that was really though he would just feel drained like when you just cry and cry and cry and all your energy just vaporize… so no wonder we believe him when he is all emotional! And I will feel so more now knowing what he himself as Jensen is going threw for a scene like this… re really does put himself into it now doesn’t he…
Another thing he got asked was about his time on Dark Angel. And he told us this long story about Jessica Alba. When he first got on the show he was so happy that he got a part and was really eager to do some acting and have fun and all. Jessica on the other hand was having a hard time. She had been the lead for an entire season alone and had so much to do all the time and was really pushing herself to the limit and inn walked happy Jensen. They weren’t the best of friends and apparently fought like siblings. And when the show ended they kinda just went off to do their own thing. Then a few years later Jessica had called Jensen up and said that she wanted to meet and talk. So they did and she told him why she had been the way she had and that she had been struggling and they had just made up and hugged and sorted things really.
Another story was about boys doing pranks. Now Jensen started off saying that him and Jared are friends most of the time cus they don’t want any prank war. But at the other panels with Brook (who played in Asylum) she said that they do all sorts of stuff and she was only there for a day. So Jensen told a story at the second panel where he were to shoot a scene much earlier than Jared and when Jared. Now both of their trailers had broken down so they were moving to other trailers I think but when Jared was gone Jensen had teepee’d the inside of Jared’s trailer as well as he had gotten hold of a box with fart spray and sprayed it all over Jared’s furniture and clothes and everything. Jared couldn’t move anything out until a few days after.

I will move over to other people now… just short what I thought bout them and random stuff!
First after Jensen was “Coventry Guest Stars” which was: Jenny Mollen who played the Werewolf girl in Angel. Mark Lutz who played the The Groosalugg in Angel. And the Angel fan that I am I thought this was really awesome. Almost like Angel is not completely dead! There was also Duglas Arthurs from Star Gate. I haven’t watched that show so had no clue who he was. Though he was somewhere out walking in his kilt and I noticed the kilt when Dream and I passed him but had NOOO clue he was one of the “celebs”.
Anyway these people were really fun. AND it was our first panel other than Jensen . The girl from Angel, she hadn’t slept in a few days and she was lying in her chair giggling and answering and commenting on what the boys said and told us what they had done when… which wasn’t interesting in itself but she was fun! The boys were just funny and engaged and making sure people had some real fun where we were at. After a while… cus the mic the audience got sucked and the people on stage couldn’t hear anything… Duglas got up and started to walk around the crowed who wanted to ask questions, sat himself down on the girls lap let people take pics of him where he was in the aisle and stuff like that. It was really fun even if I don’t remember the questions. Thought someone asked if Jenny had some fun stories from Angel. And she had one where Boreanaz had kidnapped her. In the first episode she is in, Angel is supposed to drive her home… before shooting this a guy from styling or something had walked up to the car to David and told him they were going to put some highlighted stipes in his hair and stuff, and Jenny who didn’t know David at the time sat in the car going “You can not highlight your hear”. David speeded off in the car with her still inn it not even looking at her. In fact he was apparently just looking hard out the front window of the car… and all she could do *insert happy giggeling tone here* “I’m in the car with David Boreanaz”.
Heeh, I thought that was a fun story… got to love David.
Allison Mack – Chloe from Smallville:
Now the first day I watched this alone while Dream were getting her funny autograph! Way to go Dream the Sam lover that you are! (and they were going by numbers and I had a HIGH nr so no autograph before Sunday). Anyway I really liked her. She seemed so down to earth and honest and funny and everything it was really cool. In the second Panel of hers she was asked to sing (hah they all were besides Jensen… though he gave us a song on the stage so…). And really she got a great voice! She had apparently done a song at the coffee lounge and they wanted to hear it again. She also told about how fun it was to work with the guys and how she always got bruised whenever some one (Tom) were to grab her in a scene and he didn’t know his strength… aw that Superman. Hihi… Anyway she was fun and it is cool to have seen her as well!
Alona Tal, Nicki Aycox and Brooke Nevin did one together the first day. I’m not sure what I thought of it. Course it wasn’t bad but the previus people sat the bar really high. I think that Alona and Nicki were a bit… on the defense. Nicky mostly let the other girls answer anything first and both her and Alona kept most things serious. Brooke… I love Brooke, she was so awesome. And people kept asking her about Supernatural and she was ONE day on the set for ONE episode so she didn’t have too much to say, though she did have the input about the boys running out on stage dressed as girls. *shakes mental image away* lol! And she had some awesome strange answers to questions, like… one was “if you could talk to anyone on the world who you would want to talk too”. And I can’t even remember Alona or Nicki’s answers but Brook said she’d really like to talk to a dinosaur cus it would be so cool to know what their life’s were like and she was soooo into every answer she gave that you just got intrigued by everything she said. Also one thing, because they asked Alona if she read about what people thought of her and her role in SN and if it affected her. And she did, and if I read her right she got a bit shaky when answering that she did read and it did affect her cus she just wanted to do a role good and not wanting everybody to hate her. Now I haven’t liked her all the time, but always wanted to like her and her role, just think she need to stop the flirting with Dean and be more of a kick ass chick… like Max in Dark Angel kinda role! (that is my POV though) But I felt a bit sorry for her! And another thing was that Alona did one Panel alone, and we only caught a tiny bit of the ending BUT she did seem so much more comfortable alone on the stage and that she had much better and fun answers then so I am guessing we saw her when she was scared to death of rabid fans who she thought hated her. Heeh…
Nicki and Brook had one more together, and again… Brooke! YOU RULE!
Nicki wasn’t too bad… and as many apparently have commented… she had really cool hair!
As for the Smallville boys: Justin Hartley and Alan Ritchson. They had one Panel together and one alone each. Justin was cool… well they both were cool but Justin was more fun and crazier just playing along with whatever happened around him. Think we missed some of the Panel they had together and I got my autograph during the Panel Justin had alone but did get the ending. Don’t have too much to say about them, don’t know who they are on the show either cus I haven’t watched since Daddy Kent died, but I know I saw Aquaman once… Alan did seem very sweet though talked some about his wife and his kid.. Though very random things at times, but it wasn’t always a million questions wanting to be asked like it was with Jensen. Still fun boys.
Oh… Remembered… bout Jensen… what superpower did he want to have if he could have one! Straight answer, X-ray vision! Hee hee heeeh…
At the end of Sunday we just hung out really... watched some tv... me having way to much fun with British commercials... 
and... just hung out... ended with another viewing of SN as well... nice nice ending to this awesome weekend!
I think this was the most of it. Loved getting to know Dream...besides threw the board... and hey… she’s NOT a serial killer! And she is the one who got me the ticked and fixed the train and the hotel so we got a better and cheaper hotel as well AND I got to know the two girls from LimpSam as well which was very fun. Lol… so even if I got a bit hooked up in the fact that they are overly polite British people… seriously… they say sorry for anything… I did end up adopting it… and I walked around saying sorry being the polite little wannabe British…people either don’t care or get surprised here… like more than normal for me! And she brought her laptop so I got to watch SN… Soooo cool!!! So no danger in meeting people form the internet… which is good seeing as I am have booked my ticket to America for two weeks in August and that is further a way and more people I don’t really know…
Oh… and we did some awesome quotes from the show during that weekend, though who would have thought we could pull the “Siamese/conjoined twins” thing? So… I will shut up now… if you actually read it all… wow… thanks! If not… then… nothing really… heeeh… Oh and one of the first things I told Dream was that she shouldn’t be surprised if I fell in the escalators and the last thing I almost did was to go head first down the stairs…
